Who knew a Sesame Street book and a floetic soul cd would be the inspiration for starting my blog today.
I was reading Evan a story this morning and here's how the five pages in this tiny provoking board book went:
Big Bird's tricycle can go.
Cookie Monster's dump truck can go.
Zoe's wagon can go.
Bert and the yellow submarine can go.
Grover and the plane go, go, go! Where would you like to go?
After my little nugget sighed, smiled and crawled away contently,
That was the instant I asked myself where would "I" like to go.
I exhaled, regained focus and now here I am.
To all my music lovers, food enthusiasts,fashionistas and aristocrats - this one's for you.

As I mentioned earlier, the new Floacist cd is 55 minutes of elevation.To all my music junkies and Neo Soul lovers, this one's a banger.Being one of the few spoken word artists in the mainstream urban market, I think this work of art is a blessing when it comes to inspiring people. I can't help but share the words to her first track BREATHE. It was the second breath I was looking for today and it just may be yours. Enjoy it alone or save it, V-Day is right around the corner ;)
